Scannedimages can be saved in JPEG format and accessed across thecompany network or Internet.Zip Drive AttachmentYou can print certain files (.ps, .prn, .eps, .jpg) directly from aSCSI attached Iomega Zip® drive—without the use of a PC.You can search for files on the Zip drive by using theOperator Panel or through the Advanced Features button onthe printer’s home page.WatermarksA watermark is text that appears on pages in your print job,such as DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL. Use these settings toapply watermarks to your print job, create new watermarks,or modify existing watermarks. A preview area shows howthe watermark will appear. You can also specify whether thewatermark appears in the foreground or background, and onwhich pages it appears. This feature is not available forWindows NT.Paper HandlingLayoutUse this feature to print multiple page images on the printedpage, including 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, and 16. This gives you the abilityto print pamphlets, storyboards, or thumbnail layouts. Youcan also print a border around the page image (except for 1page only).Unprintable AreaUse this setting to specify the area on the edge of the paperthat cannot be printed on. This setting overrides margins setin the application.GraphicsResolutionPrint resolution is measured by the number of dots per inch(dpi) in an image. The higher the number is, the finer theresolution. Resolution can be set to 600 dpi (the default) or1200 dpi.note: 1200 dpi is only available when 96MB or more ofRAM are installed in the printer.Sharp Edge TechnologySpecifies whether or not NEC’s Sharp Edge Technology (SET)should be used.
