This requires that thePostScript printer driver be installed on the Windows NTcomputer and that the driver be configured for sharing. Printclients then can use the network to install the PostScriptprinter driver from the Windows NT computer.DescriptionAs seen from a Windows 95 and Windows 98 computer, theshared Windows NT 4.0 PostScript printer driver is similar tothe Windows 95 and Windows 98 PostScript drivers. Theyboth have the same options and features.Sharing the Windows NT 4.0 PostScript Printer DriverConfiguring the PostScript printer driver for sharing can bedone during the installation of the driver from the SuperScript4650 Series CD to the Windows NT 4.0 computer, or after thedriver has been installed on the Windows NT 4.0 computer.To configure sharing during driver installation:1. Insert the SuperScript 4650 Series CD into theWindows NT 4.0 computer to automatically launch theinstaller.2. Follow the instructions presented by the installer toinstall the PostScript printer driver until the Get SharedInformation dialog box appears.3. From the Get Shared Information dialog box, select theShared radio button, then type in a name for the printerinto the Share Name text box.4. Select the operating systems of the computers that will beprinting to this printer.5. Click Next to finish installing the driver.To configure sharing after the driver is installed:1. From the Windows NT 4.0 computer, click Start, selectSettings, then click on Printers to open the Printersfolder.2. Double-click on the selected printer icon.3. Double-click the win95 folder and select NC46N_95.inffile.10.
