130The Playback MenuMenu Guide—The Playback MenuHiding Images During Playback: Hide ImageWhen creating a slide show or showing photos toan audience, you may want to use the Hide Im-age option to hide selected images. Hidden im-ages are visible only in the Hide Image menu.They can not be deleted using the button orthe Delete option in the playback menu, and have“hidden” and “read-only” status when viewed ona Windows computer. Like protected images, hidden images will be deletedwhen the memory card is formatted.Choosing Hide Image from the playback menu displays the photographs inthe folder or folders selected in the Folder Designate menu ( 126) assmall thumbnail images. To select the images that will be hidden:Frame Numbering and Hidden ImagesAlthough hidden images are visible only in the Hide Image menu, their presence canbe ascertained from discontinuities in the frame number sequence during playback.DeleteFolder DesignateSlide ShowHide ImagePrint SetDisplay ModeND100PLAYBACK MENUHighlight image1100-1100-4100-2100-5100-3100-6SET OKPLAYBACK MENUSelect image.
