Different combinations ofshutter speed and aperture thatproduce the same exposure can be selected by rotating themain command dial (“flexible program”). While flexible programis in effect, a flexible program indicator (U) is displayed. Torestore default shutter speed and aperture settings, rotate themain command dial until the indicator is no longer displayed,choose another mode, or turn the camera off.S: Shutter-Priority AutoIn shutter-priority auto, you choose theshutter speed while the cameraautomatically selects the aperture thatwill produce the optimal exposure. Tochoose a shutter speed, rotate the maincommand dial. Shutter speed can be setto “×200” or to values between 30 s and1/8000 s and can be locked at the selectedsetting (0 279).MonitorControl panel
