C.O. CALLS, ANSWERINGThe system administrator can customize the routing ofincoming CO (trunk) calls to meet the exact site require-ments. This lets trunk calls ring and be answered at anycombination of system extensions.CO lines can be grouped into a maximum of 30 groups with 2line groups assigned per extension. The line groups assigned toeach extension can access incoming calls and set the audibleassignments (day and/or night mode ringing) for the extensions.Flexible Line AppearanceThis feature allows an incoming line group (assigned inProgram 7) to shift appearance so that the lowest numbered linein the group (regardless of the number) appears under CO key 1,and the rest follow on keys 2, 3, 4, etc. For example, an incom-ing line group containing lines 4-8 can appear under CO keys 1-4. Flexible Line Appearance shifts exactly one incoming linegroup at every extension and automatically provides each exten-sion with both incoming and outgoing access to that line group.Note that enabling this feature disables Program 6 - OutgoingLine Access, Program 7 - Incoming Line Access/Audible -option [B], Common Use Lines set in Program 3 - Line Options(2), and Recalling Line Preference set in Program 16, option [B].Conditions: NoneDefault Configuration: All lines ring at station #10; allstations have lamping for all lines.ProgrammingRequired ProgrammingProgram 2 - Line Group AssignmentAssign the lowest and highest line numbers [01-systemmax.=line number] to be in each line group number [01-30].Program 7 - Incoming Line Access/AudibleAssign line access [00=not assigned, 01-30=line group #]and line audible [0=no ring, 1=day ring, 2=night ring,3=day and night ring] for each extension required. A usercan answer an incoming call only if the extension hasIncoming Line Access to the group containing that line.(Continued on next page)824+ Available - 8trunks.308+ Available - 3trunks.45
