Information about Nokia care centres, Nokiadesignated service locations and Nokia call centres can befound at local Nokia web pages where available.You must return your Product or the affected part (if it is notthe entire Product) to a Nokia care centre or Nokia designatedservice location before the expiry of the Warranty Period.When making a Limited Warranty claim you have to present:a) the Product (or affected part thereto), b) the legible andunmodified original proof of purchase, which clearlyindicates the name and address of the seller, the date andplace of purchase, the product type and the IMEI or otherserial number.This Limited Warranty extends only to the original first end-user of the Product and is not assignable or transferable toany subsequent purchaser/end-user.What is not covered?1. This Limited Warranty does not cover user manuals or anythird party software, settings, content, data or links, whetherincluded/downloaded in the Product, whether includedduring installment, assembly, shipping or at any other timein the delivery chain or otherwise and in any way acquiredby you. To the extent permitted by applicable law(s), Nokiadoes not warrant that any Nokia software will meet yourrequirements, will work in combination with any hardwareor software applications provided by a third party, that theoperation of the software will be uninterrupted or error freeor that any defects in the software are correctable or will becorrected.2. This Limited Warranty does not cover a) normal wear andtear (including, without limitation, wear and tear of cameralenses, batteries or displays), b) transport costs, c) defectscaused by rough handling (including, without limitation,defects caused by sharp items, by bending, compressing ordropping, etc.), d) defects or damage caused by misuse of theProduct, including use that is contrary to the instructionsprovided by Nokia (e.g. as set out in the Product's user guide)and/or e) other acts beyond the reasonable control of Nokia.3. This Limited Warranty does not cover defects or allegeddefects caused by the fact that the Product was used with, orconnected to, a product, accessories, software and/or servicenot manufactured, supplied or authorised by Nokia or wasused otherwise than for its intended use. Defects can becaused by viruses from your or from a third party'sunauthorised access to services, other accounts, computersystems or networks. This unauthorised access can take placethrough hacking, password-mining or through a variety ofother means.4. This Limited Warranty does not cover defects caused by thefact that the battery has been short-circuited or by the factthat the seals of the battery enclosure or the cells are brokenor show evidence of tampering or by the fact that the batteryhas been used in equipment other than those for which it hasbeen specified.5. This Limited Warranty does not apply if the Product hasbeen opened, modified or repaired by anyone other than anauthorised service centre, if it is repaired using unauthorisedspare parts or if the Product’s serial number, the mobileaccessory date code or the IMEI number has been removed,erased, defaced, altered or are illegible in any way and thisshall be determined in the sole discretion of Nokia.© 2007 Nokia.
