Thealarm clock works even when thephone is switched off.Press Menu, and select Alarm clock.Key in the alarm time and press OK.To change the time when the alarmtime is set, select On.When the alarm time expiresThe phone will sound an alert tone,and flash Alarm! and the currenttime on the display.Press Stop to stop the alarm. If youlet the phone continue to alarm for aminute or press Snooze, the alarmstops for about ten minutes andthen resumes.If the alarm time is reached whilethe phone is switched off, the phoneswitches itself on and startssounding the alarm tone. If you pressStop, the phone asks whether youwant to activate the phone for calls,Switch the phone on?. Press No toswitch off the phone or Yes to makeand receive calls.Note: Do not press Yeswhen wireless phone use isprohibited or when it maycause interference ordanger.■ Radio(Menu 6)Note: Yourphone must be switched onto use this function. Do notswitch the phone on whenwireless phone use isprohibited or when it maycause interference ordanger.To listen to the radio on your phoneconnect the headset HDS-3 (stereo)or HDB-4 (mono) to the headsetconnector on the bottom of thephone. The lead of the headsetfunctions as the antenna of theradio, so let it hang freely.Note that the quality of the radiobroadcast depends on the radiostation’s coverage in that particulararea.
