To make the currency conversion,key in the amount to beconverted, press Options andselect In domestic or In foreign.Tip: You can also make thecurrency conversion instandby mode. Key in theamount to be converted,press Options and select Indomestic or In foreign.Countdown timerPress Menu, and select Extras andCountdown timer. Key in the alarmtime in hours and minutes and pressOK. If you wish, write your own notetext which is displayed when thetime expires, and press OK to startthe countdown timer.• To change the countdown time,select Change time, or to stopthe timer, select Stop timer.If the alarm time is reached whenthe phone is in standby mode, thephone sounds a tone and flashes thenote text if it is set or elseCountdown time up. Stop the alarmby pressing any key. If no key ispressed, the alarm automaticallystops within 30 seconds. To stop thealarm and to delete the note text,press OK.StopwatchYou can measure time, takeintermediate times or lap timesusing the stopwatch. During timing,the other functions of the phone canbe used. To set the timing in thebackground, press .Using the stopwatch consumes thebattery and the phone's operatingtime will be reduced. Be careful notto let it run in the background whenperforming other operations withyour phone.Time observation and timesplitting1. Press Menu, and select Extras,Stopwatch and Split timing. Youcan select Continue if you haveset the timing in the background.2. Press Start to start the timeobservation. Press Split everytime you want to take anintermediate time. Theintermediate times are listedbelow the running time on thedisplay. Scroll to view the times.3. Press Stop to stop the timeobservation.4. Press Options and selectStart to start the timeobservation again. The new timeis added to the previous time.
