You can lock thekeypad only when the flip is closed.• Locking the keypadIn standby mode, press Menu andthen within 1.5 seconds.• Unlocking the keypadPress Unlock and thenwithin 1.5 seconds or open theflip. Note that the keyguard willnot be activated, if you close theflip.To answer a call when the keyguardis on, press . During a call, thephone can be operated normally.When you end or reject the call, thekeypad will automatically lock.For locking the keypad during a call,see ”Options during a call” on page12, and for setting the securitykeyguard, see Security keyguard in”Phone settings” on page 65.Note: When Keyguard is on,calls may be possible to theemergency numberprogrammed into yourphone (e.g. 112 or otherofficial emergency number).Key in the emergencynumber and press . Thenumber is displayed onlyafter you have keyed in itslast digit.■ Over the air settingsserviceIn order to use MMS, (E)GPRS, andother wireless services, you need tohave proper connection settings onyour phone. You may receive thesettings directly as an over the airmessage and then save them on yourphone. For more information on theavailability of the settings, contactyour network operator, serviceprovider or the nearest authorisedNokia dealer.You may be able to receive theconnection settings for (E)GPRS,multimedia messages,synchronisation, chat and presence,e-mail and for multi-mode browser.When you have received theconnection settings as an over theair message Connection settingsreceived is displayed.• To save the settings, pressOptions and select Save. If thephone asks Enter settings' PIN:,key in the PIN code for thesettings and press OK. For theavailability of the PIN code,contact the service provider thatsupplies the settings.If no settings have been savedyet, the settings are saved underthe first free connection set.
