General information■ Access codesSecurity code (5 to 10digits)The security code protects yourphone against unauthorised use. Thepreset code is 12345. When youhave changed the code, keep thenew code secret and in a safe placeseparate from your phone. To changethe code, and to set the phone torequest it, see ”Security settings” onpage 67.If you key in an incorrect securitycode five times in succession, thephone may display Code error. Waitfor five minutes and key in the codeagain.PIN and PIN2 codes (4 to 8digits), Module PIN andSigning PIN• The PIN (Personal IdentificationNumber) code protects your SIMcard against unauthorised use.The PIN code is usually suppliedwith the SIM card. Set the phoneto request the PIN code eachtime the phone is switched on,see ”Security settings” on page67.• The PIN2 code may be suppliedwith the SIM card and is requiredto access some functions.• The module PIN is required toaccess the information in thesecurity module. See ”Securitymodule” on page 91. The modulePIN is supplied with the SIM cardif the SIM card has a securitymodule in it.• The signing PIN is required for thedigital signature. See ”Digitalsignature” on page 93. Thesigning PIN is supplied with theSIM card if the SIM card has asecurity module in it.If you key in an incorrect PIN codethree times in succession, the phonemay display PIN blocked or PIN codeblocked and ask you to key in thePUK code.PUK and PUK2 codes (8digits)The PUK (Personal Unblocking Key)code is required to change a blockedPIN code.
