If youlet the alarm continue for a minuteor if you press Snooze, the alarmstops for about ten minutes andthen resumes.If the alarm time is reached whilethe phone is switched off, the phoneswitches itself on and startssounding the alarm tone. If you pressStop, the phone asks whether youwant to activate the phone for calls,Switch the phone on?. Press No toswitch off the phone or Yes to makeand receive calls.Note: Do not press Yeswhen wireless phone use isprohibited or when it maycause interference ordanger.CalendarThe calendar helps you to keep trackof reminders, calls that you need tomake, meetings, and birthdays.The calendar uses shared memory,see ”Shared memory” on page xi.Press Menu and select Organiserand Calendar.Tip: To quickly view thecurrent Calendar month,move the joystick to the rightin standby mode.Scroll to the day that you want. Thecurrent day is indicated by a framearound the day. If there are anynotes set for the day, the day isshown in bold type.• To view a single note, scroll to thedesired note, and press View. Youcan scroll through the note.• To view the list of options, pressOptions and you can select frommaking a note, or sending a notevia IR or the Bluetoothconnection, or sending a note asa note, as a multimedia messageor as a text message directly to acompatible phone’s calendar.• There are options for deleting,editing, moving and repeating(until a defined end date) a noteand for copying a note to anotherday.• Settings to set the date, time,date or time format, or the firstday of the week. In the Auto-delete option you can set thephone to automatically deleteold notes after a specified time.However, the repeated notes, forexample birthday notes, will notbe deleted.
