If you have saved data on theremote Internet server, you cansynchronise your phone by startingthe synchronisation from the phone.You can also synchronise the data inyour phone’s contacts, calendar andNotes to correspond to the data onyour compatible PC by starting thesynchronisation from the PC. Thecontact data in your SIM card willnot be synchronised.Note that answering an incomingcall during synchronisation will endthe synchronisation process and youwill need to restart it.Synchronising from your phoneBefore synchronising from yourphone, you may need to do thefollowing:• Subscribe to a synchronisationservice. For more information onavailability and thesynchronisation service settings,contact your network operator orservice provider.• Retrieve the synchronisationsettings from your networkoperator or service provider, see”Settings for thesynchronisation” on page 80.• Set the connection settings youneed for synchronisation. See”Setting up the phone for aservice” on page 86.To start the synchronisation fromyour phone:1. Activate the connection settingsthat you need forsynchronisation. See ”Setting upthe phone for a service” on page86.2. Press Menu and select Organiser,Synchronisation, Settings andActive Internet sync. settings.Scroll to the set you wish toactivate and press Activate.Mark the data that are going tobe synchronised. See Data to besynchronised in ”Settings for thesynchronisation” on page 80.3. Press Menu and select Organiser,Synchronisation andSynchronise.The marked data in the active setwill be synchronised afterconfirmation.Note that synchronising for thefirst time or after an interruptedsynchronisation may take up to30 minutes to complete, if thecontacts or calendar are full.
