• Network — Adjust the network settings.Call settingsSelect Menu > Ctrl. panel > Settings and Phone >Call.Select from the following:• Send my caller ID — Display your phone number tothe person you are calling.• Send my internet call ID — Display your internet calladdress to the person you are calling using an internetcall. This setting is only available if you have definedinternet call service settings.• Call waiting — Set the device to notify you of incomingcalls while you are in a call (network service).• Internet call waiting — Set the device to notify youof a new incoming internet call while you are in a call.This setting is only available if you have definedinternet call service settings.• Internet call alert — Select On to set your device toalert for incoming internet calls. If you select Off, youreceive only a notification if you missed a call. Thissetting is only available if you have defined internet callservice settings.• Decline call with msg. — Reject a call, and send a textmessage to the caller.• Message text — Write the standard text message thatis sent when you reject a call.• Own video in recvd. call — Allow or deny videosending during a video call from your device.• Image in video call — Display a still image if video isnot sent during a video call.• Automatic redial — Set your device to make amaximum of 10 attempts to connect the call after anunsuccessful call attempt. To stop automatic redialing,press the end key.• Show call duration — Display the length of a callduring the call.• Summary after call — Display the length of a call afterthe call.• 1-touch dialing — Activate 1-touch dialing.• Anykey answer — Activate anykey answer.• Noise cancellation — Activate earpiece active noisecancellation.• Contact search — Activate contact search in the homescreen.Network settingsSelect Menu > Ctrl. panel > Settings and Phone >Network.To select the network mode, select Network mode andDual mode, UMTS, or GSM. In dual mode, the deviceswitches automatically between networks.Tip: Selecting UMTS enables faster data transfer,but may increase the demand on battery power andreduce the battery life. In regions close to both GSMand UMTS networks, selecting Dual mode maycause constant jumping between the two networks,which also increases the demand on battery power.To select the operator, select Operator selection andManual to select from available networks, or Automaticto set the device to select the network automatically.121 Settings |
