To set an out-of-office reply, if available, select yourmailbox and Options > Settings > Mailbox > Out ofoffice > On.To enter the text for the reply, select Out of office reply.General e-mail settingsSelect Menu > Email and Settings > Global settings.Select from the following:• Message list layout — Select whether the e-mailmessages in Inbox display one or two lines of text.• Body text preview — Preview messages whenscrolling through the list of e-mail messages in Inbox.• Title dividers — To be able to expand and collapse thelist of e-mail messages, select On.• Download notifications — Set the device to displaya notification when an e-mail attachment has beendownloaded.• Warn before delete — Set the device to display awarning before you delete an e-mail message.• Home screen — Define how many lines of e-mail aredisplayed in the home screen information area.Message readerWith Message reader you can listen to text, multimedia,audio, and e-mail messages.To listen to new messages or e-mail, in the home screen,press and hold the left selection key until Message readeropens.To listen to a message from your Inbox, scroll to themessage, and select Options > Listen. To listen to an e-mail message from your mailbox, scroll to the message,and selectOptions > Listen. To stop the reading, pressthe end key.To pause and continue the reading, press the scroll key. Toskip to the next message, scroll right. To replay the currentmessage or e-mail, scroll left. To skip to the previousmessage, scroll left at the beginning of the message.To view the current message or e-mail in text formatwithout the sound, select Options > View.SpeechSelect Menu > Ctrl. panel > Phone > Speech.With Speech, you can set the language, voice, and voiceproperties for the message reader.To set the language for the message reader, selectLanguage. To download additional languages to yourdevice, select Options > Download languages. Whenyou download a new language, you must download atleast one voice for that language.To set the speaking voice, select Voice. The voice dependson the selected language.To set the speaking rate, select Speed.To set the speaking volume, select Volume.To view the details of a voice, open the voice tab, andselect the voice and Options > Voice details.
