• VPN log — View the log for your VPN policyinstallations, updates and synchronisations, andother VPN connections.Edit VPN access pointsSelect Menu > Ctrl. panel > Settings andConnection > Destinations.An access point is where your phone connects to thenetwork. To use e-mail and multimedia services, or tobrowse web pages, you must first define internetaccess points for these services. Virtual private network(VPN) access points pair VPN policies with regularinternet access points to create secure connections.Your service provider may preset some or all accesspoints for your device, and you may not be able tocreate, edit, or remove them.Select a destination and Options > Edit, and definethe following:• Connection name — Enter a name for the VPNaccess point.• VPN policy — Select the VPN policy to combine withthe internet access point.• Internet access point — Select the internet accesspoint with which to combine the VPN policy tocreate secure connections for data transfer.• Proxy server address — Enter the proxy serveraddress of the private network.• Proxy port number — Enter the proxy portnumber.• Use access point — Select whether connectionsusing this access point are establishedautomatically.The settings available for editing may vary.For the correct settings, contact your company's ITdepartment.Use a VPN connection in anapplicationYou may have to prove your identity when you log onto the enterprise network. Contact your company's ITdepartment for the credentials.To use a VPN connection in an application, theapplication must be associated with a VPN access point.Tip: You can configure the application'sconnection setting to Always ask, in which caseyou select the VPN access point from a list ofconnections when a connection is established.1. In the application in which you want to create a VPNconnection, select a VPN access point as the accesspoint.2. If you are using legacy authentication, enter yourVPN user name and passcode or password. If theSecurID token has become out of synchronisationwith the clock of the ACE/Server, enter the nextpasscode.
