The camera hasthree picture quality modes (High, Normal, and Basic). Usethe High setting to ensure that the camera produces thebest picture quality available. Note however, that betterpicture quality requires more storage space. For MMS ande-mail attachments it may be necessary to use theNormal or Basic setting. To define the quality in theimaging mode in the camera, select Options > Settings.BackgroundUse a simple background. For portraits and other pictureswith people, avoid having your subject in front of acluttered, complex background that may distractattention from the subject. Move the camera, or thesubject, when these conditions cannot be met. Move thecamera closer to the object to take clearer portraits.DepthWhen shooting landscapes and sceneries, to add depth toyour pictures, place objects into the foreground. If theforeground object is too close to the camera, it may beblurred.Lighting conditionsChanging the source, amount, and direction of light canchange photographs dramatically.
