To switch between themodes, turn the fold and the swing axis display. There is ashort time-out before a mode is activated.Fold closed modeWhen the fold is closed, themain display deactivates and thecover display lights up. Ongoingcalls end, unless the loudspeakeris in use or a compatible headsetis connected. To change thesettings, see ‘Standby mode’, p.106. If you are using the radio,TV, or music player, you cancontinue listening to them.In the Fold closed mode, the cover display provides clockand status information. When the device is in standbymode the signal strength and battery indicators, timeinformation, status indicators, and the name of the activeprofile (if other than General) may be shown. If the TV isswitched on, you can view the Mobile TV program channel,program information, program schedule, and recordingstatus on the cover display. If you are using the musicplayer to listen to a sound clip, volume bars and trackinformation are displayed. Use the side volume key to turnthe volume up or down.If you are using Visual Radio in the Fold closed mode, thevisual content is not shown on the cover display. You canstore several preset stations with the station name,frequency, and location information. This information isshown on the cover display.Calendar and clock alarms and notes for missed calls andnew received messages are also displayed. To viewreceived text messages and the text and image objects ofreceived multimedia messages, open the fold, and viewthe message on the main display.Incoming calls are indicated by their normal tone and anote. In the cover display settings, select Answer if foldopened > Yes to answer a call when you open the fold. If
