Compatible devicesmay include mobile phones, computers, and enhancementssuch as headsets and car kits. You can use Bluetoothconnectivity to send images, video clips, music and soundclips, and notes; connect wirelessly to your compatible PC(for example, to transfer files); and connect to acompatible printer to print images with Image print inGallery. See ‘Image print’, p. 32.Since devices with Bluetooth technology communicateusing radio waves, your device and the other device do notneed to be in direct line-of-sight. The two devices onlyneed to be within 10 meters (33 feet) of each other, but theconnection may be subject to interference fromobstructions such as walls or from other electronic devices.This device is compliant with Bluetooth Specification 2.0supporting the following profiles: Generic Access Profile,Serial Port Profile, Generic Object Exchange Profile,Synchronization profile,Dial-up Networking Profile, ObjectPush Profile, File Transfer Profile, Headset Profile,Handsfree Profile, Basic Imaging Profile, Basic PrintingProfile, Human Interface Device Profile, and Remote SIMAccess Profile. To ensure interoperability between otherdevices supporting Bluetooth technology, use Nokiaapproved enhancements for this model. Check with themanufacturers of other devices to determine theircompatibility with this device.Glossary: A profile corresponds to a service or afunction, and defines how different devices connect.For example, the Handsfree Profile is used between thehandsfree device and the phone. For devices to becompatible, they must support the same profiles.There may be restrictions on using Bluetooth technologyin some locations. Check with your local authorities orservice provider.Features using Bluetooth technology, or allowing suchfeatures to run in the background while using otherfeatures, increase the demand on battery power andreduce the battery life.When the device is locked, you cannot use Bluetoothconnectivity.
