Enter the four-digit Duress Code.Enter the Duress CodeThe system disarms and transmits a silent duress report tothe Remote Service Provider.Transmitting a Duress Signal when the System isDisarmedTo transmit a user duress report when the system isdisarmed:1. At the Home screen or from one of the menus, tapthe system logo.System Logo2. At the Enter your code to disarm the systemscreen, enter the four-digit Duress Code.Enter the Duress CodeThe system will announce “System Disarmed” and return tothe Home screen.In the Event of a Burglary AlarmIf one or more armed sensors are tripped while the systemis armed in Stay or Away Mode, an alarm condition willoccur, and the system’s alarm siren will sound.If an Entry Delay sensor is tripped while the system isarmed in Stay or Away Mode, the Entry Delay countdownstarts to give you time to disarm the system. If the systemis not disarmed before the countdown expires, an alarmcondition occurs, and the system’s alarm siren will sound.If more than one armed sensor is tripped, the systemdisplays the triggered sensors in chronological order.Alarms Screen—Multiple Alarms in Chronological OrderSilencing the Alarm Sounder (for False Alarms)If the system is in an active alarm state, any person withan active, four-digit user code can silence the sounder bydisarming the system.» If you disarm the system BEFORE the AbortWindow Dialer Delay countdown expires, thesystem cancels the alarm and stops the alarm reportfrom being transmitted to the Central Station.» If you disarm the system AFTER the AbortWindow Dialer Delay countdown expires, thesystem silences the alarm and transmits an alarmcancellation report to the Central Station.NOTE: Consult your installer to determine howthe Alarm Abort Window Dialer Delay feature isconfigured on your system (15-45 seconds). Thissetting specifies the number of seconds end usershave to manually abort the alarm, in the event ofa false alarm. For ANSI/SIA CP-01-2010 com-pliance, the default setting is 30 seconds. For UL1023: Household Burglar Alarm Units compliance,this setting may be configured to a maximum of 45seconds. |
