NAC 2.5 automatically configures the modem on its side.Configuring for anetwork linkTo configure the Racal VI2422PA modem for a network link,follow these steps.Step Action1 Connect the Meridian MAX workstation to the modem with astraight-through NT9D9007 cable.Note: The workstation must be connected with a data format of8N1 and a speed of 2400 baud.2 Verify that the modem is connected to the telephone systemwith an RJ-11 cable/connector.3 Connect the Meridian MAX workstation and the modem to apower source.4 Power up the workstation and modem.5 On the workstation keyboard, type AT&F followed by Enter.Result: The system responds with OK.6 Type AT*F0 followed by Enter.Result: The system responds with OK.7 Type AT*ZT=####### followed by Enter.Result: The system responds with OK.Note: The “#######” represents the telephone number for theMeridian MAX node.8 Type ATQ1 followed by Enter.Result: The system does not show a response.
