When the balance requires calibration, a screen prompt of CAL NOW appears. This display can beturned off as described in paragraph 3.3.2. Also, a software adjust feature is incorporated which permits theinternal calibration mass to be adjusted to +100 counts. The adjust feature is described in paragraph 3.3.3. Thebalance automatically resumes calibration.The internal mass is positioned several times duringcalibration and then removed, then after a few seconds,CAL SET is displayed indicating a successful calibration.The display then returns to WEIGH mode.IMPORTANT !DO NOT DISTURB THE BALANCE DURINGCALIBRATION. IF THE MESSAGE UNSTBLE IS DIS-PLAYED, THE BALANCE WAS UNABLE TO ACQUIRESTABLE DATA DURING INTERNAL CALIBRATION.THE BALANCE WILL CONTINUE TO PERFORMINTERNAL CALIBRATION UNTIL READINGS STABI-LIZE.
