Short-circuiting may occur across the terminals,causing the battery to heat up, and you mayseriously burn yourself if you touch thebattery in this state.• The battery becomes hot while it is being usedor charged. The camera-recorder itself alsobecomes hot during use.• The recordable time reduces if you repeatedlystart and stop recording.• Discharge the battery before storing it. Whenstoring it for an extended time, charge it at leastonce a year, use up its charge in the camera-recorder, and then store it again.• If the battery is extremely hot or cold, theCHARGE lamp will blink several times beforecharging starts.• If the CHARGE lamp continues to blink evenwhen the battery temperature is normal, theremay be something wrong with the battery or ACadapter. Contact your dealer.• The battery takes longer to charge when it iswarm.• The AC adapter can interfere with radio receptionso keep radios at least 1 meter away from it.• The AC adapter may make some noise when youare using it, but this is normal.• You cannot charge the battery when supplyingpower to the camera-recorder from the ACadapter.• Operation of battery pack CGR-D16 (1600mAh)(sold separately) is not guaranteed.
