Phonebook22 For assistance, please call 1-800-211-PANA (7262).Using the phonebookThe handset phonebook allows you tomake calls without having to dial manually.You can add 50 names and phonenumbers to the handset phonebook andsearch for phonebook entries by name.Adding items to the phonebook1 Press {Phonebook}.2 Press {Add}.L The display shows the number ofitems in the phonebook.3 Enter the name (max. 16 characters).See the character table for entry.4 Press {Next}.5 Enter the phone number (max. 32digits).L If a pause is required when dialing,press {PAUSE} where needed (page20).6 Press {Next}.L If you want to change the name andnumber, press {Edit}, then repeatfrom step 3.7 Press {Save}.L To add other items, repeat from step2.8 Press {OFF}.Note:L Caller ID subscribers can use ringer IDand light-up ID features (page 27).Character tableThe dial keys can be used to entercharacters. To enter a character, press theappropriate dial key, repeatedly ifnecessary. To enter another character thatis located on the same dial key, first press{>} to move the cursor to the next space.To edit/correct a mistakePress {<} or {>} to move the cursor to thecharacter or number you wish to erase,then press {CLEAR}.
