This feature may notpronounce all names correctly.L The handset or base unit will announce each letter ofabbreviations, such as “Co.” and “Inc.”.L Caller ID supports name of up to 15 letters. If the caller’sname has more than 15 letters, the name will not beannounced correctly.The caller list/incomingphone numbers are notedited automatically.L The Caller ID number auto edit feature is turned off.Turn it on and try again (page 40).L You need to call back the edited number to activateCaller ID number auto edit.I cannot dial the phonenumber edited in thecaller list.L The phone number you dialed might have an incorrectedited pattern (for example, the long distance “1” or thearea code is missing). Edit the phone number withanother pattern (page 29).The display exits thecaller list while searching.L The handset automatically exits after 1 minute ofinactivity.Problem Cause & solutionI cannot listen tomessages from a remotelocation.L A touch tone phone is required for remote operation.L Press the remote code correctly and press each keyfirmly (page 52).L The answering system is off.
