Contact your serviceprovider/telephone company for details.Call Display featuresWhen an outside call is being received, thecaller’s name and phone number aredisplayed.Caller information for the last 50 callers islogged in the caller list from the most recentcall to the oldest.L If the unit cannot receive caller information,the following is displayed:– “Unavailable Name & No.”: Thecaller dials from an area which does notprovide a Call Display service.– “Private caller”: The callerrequests not to send caller information.– “Long distance”: The caller makes along distance call.L If the unit is connected to a PBX system,caller information may not be properlyreceived. Contact your PBX supplier.Missed callsIf a call is not answered, the unit treats it as amissed call. The display shows “Missedcall”. This lets you know if you should viewthe caller list to see who called while you wereaway.Note:L Even when there are unviewed missedcalls,“Missed call” disappears from thestandby display if the following operation isperformed by one of the registeredhandsets:– Being replaced on the base unit orcharger.– Pressing {OFF}.Phonebook name displayWhen caller information is received and itmatches a phone number stored in thephonebook, the stored name in the phonebookis displayed and logged in the caller list.Ringer IDThis feature can help you identify who iscalling by using different ringer tones fordifferent groups of callers. When adding anentry to the phonebook, you can assign it tothe desired group (page 20). When a call isreceived from a caller assigned to a group, theringer you selected for that group rings aftercaller information is displayed.
