57Adjustments and Settings for Recording : Setting the Electronic ShutterAdjustments and Settings for RecordingThe shutter speed in any shutter mode is set using theSHUTTER switch.In SYNCHRO SCAN/SYNCHRO SCAN2 mode, shutterspeed can be switched easily, using the SYNCHRO SCANadjustment buttons (+/–) on the side panel.Note that the range of selectable shutter speeds may be pre-defined; whether or not to use the SYNCHRO SCAN modemay be determined through the and screens. These screens are found inthe CAM OPERATION page.The selected shutter speed is retained even if the unit isturned off.1 Press the SHUTTER switch, positioned at [ON], towards[SEL].a.
