At this time,you can unplug the AC power cord even if thefans are still running.When the projector has cooled down enough, the3 ) indicator stops blinkingand you can turn on the projector.NoteDo not put the projector in a case before the projector iszcooled enough.While the indicator is blinking,zthe lamp is being cooled down and the projector cannotbe turned on. Wait until the indicator stops blinking to turn on the projector again.The projector can be turned on after the zSTANDBY(R)> indicator turns red. The waiting timeto restart will be shortened when the normal power-offprocessing for fan cooling is completed, compared withthe time the AC power cord is immediately unpluggedafter the power-off.J Direct Power Off functionYou can disconnect the power cord from the walloutlet or turn off the breaker even during projectionwithout pressing the < > button.NoteWhen using the Direct Power Off function, you cannotzrestart the projector immediately after the power isdisconnected. The lamp remains high temperature andneeds to be cooled, so it sometimes takes longer timethan usual for the lamp to light up again.While the cooling fan is operating, do not place thezprojector inside a box or bag.NoteIf the button on the remote control iszpressed, the time countdown will be brought to an endwithout appearing Power off? afterwards on the screen.Turning Off the ProjectorPower off? disappears after 4 seconds.
