35ª Notes on the SD Memory Card Write-Protect Switch≥The SD Memory Card has a write-protect switch. Slidingthe switch to [LOCK] prevents the recording of data tothe card as well as the deletion of data from the card.Sliding back the switch permits such operations.ª Cautions for StorageBefore storing the SD Multi AV Device, take the Cardout and detach the Battery.Store all the components in a dry place with a relativelystable temperature.(Recommended Temperature:59 to 77oF (15 to 25oC),Recommended Humidity:40 to 60%)SD Multi AV Device≥Do not leave the SD Multi AV Device in places thatexpose it to high temperature.Battery≥Extremely high temperatures or low temperatures willshorten the life of the Battery.≥If the Battery is kept in smoky or dusty places, theterminals may rust and cause malfunctions.≥Do not allow the Battery terminals to come incontact with metal objects (such as necklaces,hairpins, etc.) This can result in a short circuit orheat generation and, if you touch the Battery in thiscondition, you may be badly burned.≥Store the Battery in a completely discharged state. Tostore the Battery for a long period of time, werecommend you charge it once every year and store itagain after you completely use up the charged capacity.Card≥When the Card is being read, do not remove the Card,turn off the power, or subject it to vibration or impact.≥Do not leave the Card in places where there is hightemperature or direct sunlight, or where electromagneticwaves or static electricity are easily generated.≥Do not bend or drop the Card. The Card or the recordedcontent may be damaged.≥After use, be sure to remove the Card from the SD MultiAV Device.≥After usage, store the supplied SD Memory Card in theenclosed bag.≥Do not touch the terminals on the back of the Card withyour fingers. Do not allow dirt, dust or water to enter it.ª State of Power Lamp while chargingThe Power Lamp flashes while charging. (Flashes approx.every two seconds when charging is normal.)When the Power Lamps flashes more quickly or slowly (ortuns off), some abnormality may have occurred.The flashing speed suggests the following states.Flashing approx. every 0.5 seconds:≥The SD Multi AV Device, battery or AC adaptor may bedefective. Contact your nearest Panasonic dealer.Flashing approx. every six seconds:≥The ambient temperature or that of the battery itself istoo high or too low. Charging proceeds, but will take alonger time.Turning off:Charging is completed.If the Power Lamp turns off when charging is notcompleted, the following reasons are probable.≥The ambient temperature or that of the battery itself istoo high or too low. Wait until the proper temperature isreached and charge the Battery again.≥The AC Adaptor is probably defective. Contact yournearest Panasonic dealer.
