48 Alarm RecordingAlarm recording starts when an externally connected sen-sor is turned on, the built-in VMD (Video Motion Detector) orthe built-in video loss detection is activated.Alarm recording will proceed, then stop when the post-recording time has elapsed.If more than one alarm arise, for instance ALM1 and ALM2,the images of the alarmed inputs are recorded on the diskas shown in the figure.Note: HDD indicator will continue to blink for a periodequivalent to the specified pre-alarm time at the end ofalarm recording. Manual RecordingManual recording is available when OFF is set for TIMER inthe WJ-HD200 MAIN menu. The menu setup can exemptspecific inputs from manual recording for the purpose ofpreserving disk capacity. The recording mode (SF-48, forexample), picture quality (fine) and recording rate (30 fps)are set in the menu setup by specifying two of the threeparameters. SF-48H is an example having a picture qualityof especially fine grade and 48 hours of recording capacity.1. Press the [REC] button on the front panel to startrecording. The indicator in the [REC] button lights upwhile the [CAM SEL] button of the channel indicatesand the channel image is displayed on the multiscreenmonitor.Orange: The channel image is not displayed.Yellow: The channel image is displayed.The multiscreen monitor displays the recording imageswhile the corresponding input indicators on the frontpanel light in yellow.2. Hold down the [REC STOP] button for 2 seconds tostop recording.
