27Beyond the Basics•When you enter a frequency into a channel, thescanner automatically turns on the delayfunction and DLY appears. When delay is turnedon, the scanner automatically pauses scanning 2seconds after the end of a transmission beforescanning proceeds to the next channel. To turnthe function off or on, press FUNC + DLY.•If you enter a frequency that has already beenentered elsewhere, the scanner sounds an errortone and displays the channel that wasduplicated. If you entered the frequency bymistake, press ./CLR then enter the correctfrequency. To enter the frequency anyway, pressE to accept.[ To program the next channel in sequence, pressFUNC + PGM or E and repeat Steps Y and Z.\ To program the scanner with your local Skywarnfrequency, repeat Steps X-Z to programChannel 200 with that frequency.
