14Oven shelvesthe shelf guard should be at the back pointing upwardsThe oven shelves can be easily removed andrefitted.Pull the shelf forward until the back of the shelfis stopped by the shelf stop bumps in the ovensides.Lift up the front of the shelf so the back of theshelf will pass under the shelf stop and then pullthe shelf forward.To refit the shelf, line up the shelf with a groovein the oven side and push the shelf back untilthe ends hit the shelf stop. Lift up the front sothe shelf ends clear the shelf stops, and thenlower the front so that the shelf is level and pushit fully back.SteamDuring cooking, food naturally produces steam,particulary when cooking foods with high water content(e.g. oven chips). There may be some steam visible atthe grille at the rear of the hotplate. This is perfectlynormal.As this steam can condense to water droplets on the coolouter trim of the oven, it may be necessary duringcooking to wipe away any moisture with a soft cloth. Thiswill also help to prevent soiling and discolouration of theoven exterior by cooking vapours.Oven lightPress the appropriate button to turn on one ofthe oven lights.If one of the oven lights fail, turn off the powersupply before you change the bulb.
