18Cleaning your cookerEssential informationBefore thorough cleaning isolate the electricitysupply. Remember to switch on the electricitysupply before use.Never use paint solvents, washing soda,caustic cleaners, biological powders,bleach, chlorine based bleach cleaners,coarse abrasives or salt. Don’t mixdifferent cleaning products - they mayreact together with hazardous results.Recommended cleaning materials areshown in the chart below.If you want to move your cooker for cleaning,see the section called ‘Moving your cooker’.All parts of the cooker can be cleaned with hotsoapy water - but take care that no surpluswater seeps into the appliance.For cleaning materials see the ‘Cleaning Table’at the end of this section.Hotplate burnersSome models have a separate trim ring, whichfits on the burner head.The burner heads and caps can be removed forcleaning.
