Chapter 6: Setting User Preferences93These hot keys, when pressed, are executed on the User Station ratherthan being transmitted to any target servers you are operating. To useany of these hot keys to control the target servers instead of the UserStation, you must disable or change these hot key settings on the UserStation.Tip: In the KVM Client, you can use two pre-programmed macros "SendCtrl+Alt+Del" and "Send LeftAlt+Tab" to send the key sequencesCtrl+Alt+Delete and Alt+Tab to the target servers. See Keyboard/HotKey Settings(see "Keyboard Macros" on page 50).For information on additional hot keys that can control the User Stationor its windows, seePre-programmed User Station Hot Keys (see"Pre-programmed User Station Hotkeys" on page 177).Note: If you lock the screen with the lock screen hot key, see DeviceResume or Screen Unlocking(on page 168) for instructions onunlocking the screen.To change the window control or shutdown hot keys:1. If not displayed, launch the User Station Configuration window. SeeUser Station Configuration (on page 27).2. Click Preferences > Desktop Settings. The Desktop Settings pageopens, showing the current hot key settings.3. Click Edit to change the desired hot key combination. To disable a hot key, select Disabled from its drop-down list.4. Click Save.Password ChangeYou can change your own password. If you have never changed yourinitial or default password, a password change reminder message asshown below is displayed across various pages in the User StationConfiguration and Navigator windows.To change your password:1. If not displayed, launch the User Station Configuration window. SeeUser Station Configuration (on page 27).2. Click Preferences > Change Password. The Change Password pageopens, and you can enter new password.3. Click Save.
