BluetoothIf Automatic Pairing Fails Enter the passcode supplied with your headset.The pairing and connection status displays below thehands-free headset or car kit name in the Bluetoothdevices section. When the Bluetooth headset or car kitis connected to your phone, (Bluetooth connected)displays in the status bar. Depending on the type ofheadset or car kit connected, you can begin using theheadset or car kit to listen to music or make andreceive phone calls.Reconnect a Bluetooth Headset or Car KitWhen you have paired a headset with your phone, theheadset should automatically reconnect when you turnit on. However, sometimes you will need to reconnectmanually, for example if you were using your headsetwith another Bluetooth device.1. Press and touch > Settings > Bluetooth.2. If Bluetooth is not on, touch the Bluetooth sliderto turn it on.3. Make sure that the headset is set to discoverablemode.4. Touch the headset’s name in the Bluetooth devicessection.5. If prompted to enter a passcode, try 0000 or 1234,or consult the headset or car kit documentation tofind the passcode.6. If you still cannot reconnect to the headset or carkit, follow the instructions in “Disconnect or Unpairfrom a Bluetooth Device” on page 112, then followthe instructions in “Connect a Bluetooth Headsetor Car Kit” on page 110.Note: Due to different specifications and features of otherBluetooth-compatible devices, display and operationsmay be different, and functions such as transfer orexchange may not be possible with all Bluetooth-compatible devices.
