Connections 137Connecting as a Storage DeviceYou can connect your device to a personal computer, haveyour device display as a removable disk, and access yourdevice’s file directory. If you insert a memory card in thedevice, you can also access the files directory on thememory card by using the device as a memory card reader.Note: The file directory of the memory card displays as aremovable disk, separate from the internal memory.1. Connect the USB cable to the device and connect thecable to the computer. After a few seconds, a pop-upwindow displays on the PC, prompting you to choosehow to access the new device.2. On the PC pop-up, click Open device to view files.You can now transfer files between the PC and thephone’s memory and memory card (if installed).Screen MirroringScreen Mirroring lets the phone share the contents of itsdisplay with other Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA)certified devices, such as Smart televisions.Note: To view more information about DLNA certified productsvisit dlna.org .1. Connect the phone and another DLNA certified deviceto the same Wi-Fi network. (For more information, referto “Wi-Fi” on page 126.)2. On the phone press Home, then touchMenu ➔ Settings ➔ Connections ➔ ScreenMirroring. The Screen Mirroring screen displays withScreen Mirroring already active and begins scanning foravailable devices. All detected DLNA certified devicesare listed under Available devices.3. Touch the desired device to establish a connection. Youcan now view the contents of the phone’s display onthe connected device.
