Understanding Your Phone 27Run Multiple Apps on the Same ScreenAny of the apps found within the Multi window panel can berun at the same time as a current on-screen app.Once multiple apps are running on the same screen, you canthen choose to either swap their positions or maximize adesired app.1. Launch an application, such as Internet.• From the Home screen, touch Internet.2. Enable the Multi window feature. (See “Enabling MultiWindow” on page 26.)3. Touch the Multi window tab to display the apps tray.4. Touch and hold the desired app, such as Maps,until it detaches from the tray.5. In a single motion, drag the app over the current appand drop the new Multi window app over either the topor bottom half of the current on-screen app.The device displays a split screen view containing boththe initial app and the new Multi window app. Eachapplication is still independent of the other.To swap the locations of theapplications:1. With the twoapplications shown in asplit screen, touch theBorder bar to show theon-screen icons.2. Touch the desiredapplication area (top orbottom).3.
