Accounts and Contacts 45Adding Contacts1. From the Home screen, touch Contacts ➔Add contact.2. Touch the Storage location button to select a locationwhere to save this contact (available options dependon the accounts you define to your device):– Device: Save to “my device contacts”.– Google: Save to your Google Account.– Samsung account: Save to your Samsung account.– Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account: Save to yourMicrosoft Exchange ActiveSync account.– Add new account: Allows you to define an account in whichto save your contacts. The Add new account screendisplays. (For more information, refer to “Setting Up YourAccounts” on page 42.)3. Touch Photo ID to choose a picture to identify thecontact.4. Touch Name to enter a name for the contact. Touchto enter a Name prefix, First name, Middle name, Lastname, or Name suffix.5. Under Phone, the following options are available:• Mobile button: Touch to choose a phone number label[Mobile, Home, Work, Work Fax, Home Fax, Pager,Callback, or Custom (create a new label)]. The labelsdisplayed depend upon the Storage location for this contact.• Phone number: Enter a phone number.• To add another number, touch .6. Under Email, the following options are available:• Home button: Touch to choose a label [Home, Work, Other, orCustom (create a new label)].• Email address: Enter an email address.• To add an address, touch .Note: The first time you add a contact to your Contactslist, a pop-up displays:• If you have defined one or more accounts (Google,Samsung, and so on), the Save contact to pop-updisplays, select Device or the account to receivethe new Contact entry.• If no accounts are defined, the Save contact pop-up displays, select OK to save your contacts in “mydevice contacts” or select Add new account.+
