62Answering/Ending CallsManage settings for answering and ending calls. From the Call settings screen, touch Answering/endingcalls. Configure the following options:• The home key answers calls: When enabled, pressHome to answer an incoming.• Voice control: When enabled, you can answer an incomingcall using voice commands. (For more information, refer to “SVoice” on page 119.)• The power key ends calls: When enabled, pressPower/Lock to end a call.Turn Off Screen During CallsWhen enabled, the screen automatically turns off duringphone calls, and the proximity sensor on the front of thedevice is used to turn the screen back on when the device ismoved or brought close to another surface, such as whenyou move the device to your ear. From the Call settings screen, touch Turn off screenduring calls to enable or disable the option.Call AlertsSet options for sounds and vibrations to occur during calls. From the Call settings screen, touch Call alerts. Thefollowing options are available:• Call vibrations: Configure the conditions in which the phonevibrates for different call alerts.– Vibrate on connection to network: The phone vibrates whenit connects to the network.– Call-end vibration: The phone vibrate when the other callerends the call.• Call status tones: Touch this options to enable/disable soundsto play during calls.– Call connect tone: The phone plays a tone when the othercaller answers a call.– Minute minder: A tone plays once per minute during a call.– Call end tone: The phone plays a tone when the other callerends the call.• Alerts on call: When enabled, alarms and new messages playduring phone calls. When disabled, these alerts are mutedduring a call.
