2.2 Operating your printerButton functionFunctionOn-line/Off-lineManual feed startResetSelf-testToner cartridgecleaningUsageToggles the printer between on-line (READY lighton) and off-line (READY light off) status.When you select `Manual Feeder’ source in theprinter driver’s properties, you should press thebutton each time you feed a sheet of papermanually. See page 2.8.Press the button to turn the printer off-line. Withthe READY light off, press and hold down thebutton until all lights are blinking, then releasethe button. The printer clears all data from theprinter’s memory, and then restores the defaultsettings. See page 3.1.With the printer on-line , press and hold downthe button until all three lights are blinking, thenrelease the button. A demo page will be printed.See page 1.11.While the printer is on-line, press and hold downthe button until all three lights remain lit and theprinter starts feeding paper, then release thebutton.
