2.12 Operating your printerPrinting a documentThis procedure describes the general steps involved in printing fromvarious Windows applications. The exact steps may vary depending onthe application you are using. Refer to your application’s documentationfor the exact printing procedure.1. Start the program you are using to create a document or open anexisting document you want to print.2. From the File menu, choose Print or Print Setup. The Print or PrintSetup dialog box appears in which you can change the printer settings.3. If you click Properties, Setup, or Options in the dialog box, you willaccess the printer driver to make any necessary changes. See ‘Printsettings’ on page 2.13. The settings can be changed depending on theprinter selected.4. Choose OK to close the dialog box.5.
