2.20 Operating your printerMenu OptionTrue TypeGraphic modeHalftoningGraphicFunctionsSpecifies how to handle True Type fonts in yourdocument. If you select Download as True Type,the driver will download any True Type fontsthat are used in your document not alreadystored on your printer. If you find that the fontsdid not print correctly, choose Download asBitmap and resubmit your print job. Whenprinting documents with high graphic contentand relatively few True Type fonts, choose TrueType as Graphics. This option is only availablewhen Graphic mode is set to Raster.Sets how to send graphic information to theprinter. All graphics can be printed as Rasterimages, however, some geometric shapes orpatterns print faster if they are printed as Vectorgraphics. The vector setting usually providesfaster printing speed, but some vector formattedimages may not print as they appear on yourcomputer screen, or may generate an errorcondition. If this happen, select the raster settingand reprint the graphic images.Halftone produces a gray appearance on theprinted page using combinations of black dots.If you want to have smooth, realistic andphotographic appearance, choose Fine. If yourgraphic images were originally scanned inthrough a scanner, choose Coarse. Choose LineArt for graphic images with intricate lines andfine detail like clip art graphics.Sets the graphic quality.
