If the display shows the Memory Fullmessage, delete from memory any faxes you nolonger need and then try again to store the fax.Blank areasappear at thebottom of eachpage or on otherpages, with a smallstrip of text at thetop.You may have chosen the wrong paper settingsin the user option setting. For details about papersettings, see page 5.7.Condition Suggested solutions“File in Use”message appearsduring installation.Exit all software applications. Remove allsoftware from the StartUp Group, then restartWindows. Reinstall the printer driver.“Error Writing toLPTx” messageappears.• Ensure that the cables are connected correctly,and that the machine is switched on.• If bi-directional communication is not turned onin the driver, it will also cause this message.“GeneralProtection Fault”,“Exception OE”,“Spool32”, or“Illegal Operation”messages appear.Close all other applications, reboot Windows andtry printing again.“Fail To Print”, “Aprinter timeouterror occurred.”messages appear.These messages may appear during printing.Just keep waiting until the machine finishesprinting.
