2.19ScanningScanning2 OperationOverviewThe Presto! PageManager Scanning OS eliminates the need for maintainingpaper copies of photographs and documents. With Presto! PageManager, youcan easily scan documents and photographs into your computer andmaintain them as electronic documents. You can also use Presto!PageManager to quickly transmit scanned documents by fax or electronicmail, or to print a copy on your printer.Before scanning documents or photographs, make sure that the Presto!PageManager software and the image scan programme MyScan providedwith your SmartJet Scanner have been installed in your computer. See page1.21.This section gives a basic description of scanning using MyScan, theSAMSUNG SmartJet Scanner, and Presto!
