Menu functions Settings (Menu 9)85• Secure mode: determine if the phone asks foryour confirmation when other devices access yourdata.• Bluetooth services: display available Bluetoothservices.Searching for and pairing with a Bluetoothdevice1. From the Bluetooth setting options, select Mydevices.2. Select Search new device.After searching, a list of devices to which you canconnect displays. The following icons indicate thekind of device:The colour of the icon indicates the status of thethe device:• Grey for unpaired devices• Blue for paired devices• Red for devices that are currently connected toyour phone3. Select a device.4. Enter a Bluetooth PIN code and press <OK>. Thiscode is used just once and you don’t need tomemorise it.When the owner of the other device enters thesame code, pairing is complete.Using device optionsFrom the device list, press <Options> to access thefollowing options:• Connect/Disconnect: connect to the currentlyselected device, or end the connection.• Browse files: search for data from the device andimport data directly to your phone.• Hands-free orheadset• Mobile phone• Computer • PDA• Printer • Unknown deviceSome devices, especially headsets or hands-free carkits, may have a fixed Bluetooth PIN, such as 0000. Ifthe other device has a code, you must enter it.Options may vary depending on the paired device.
