95Quickly Switching to QuietModeQuiet mode disables all sounds on your PDA phone. Thisfeature is best used in situations where the phone mightdisturb others, such as at a meeting, a library, or atheatre.To enter Quiet mode, press and hold the button until“Quiet mode activated” displays. The Quiet modeindicator ( ) appears on the top of the screen.To exit and reactivate the previous sound settings, pressand hold the button until “Quiet mode deactivated”appears. The Quiet mode indicator no longer displays.Note: ‘wake up call’ alarm sound and ‘camere shutter’ sound arenot eliminated by selecting Quiet mode.You can change how Quiet mode works, either to vibratethe phone or to mute all phone sounds. See page 249.Options During a CallYour PDA phone provides a number of control functionsthat you can use during a call.Putting a Call on HoldYou can place the current call on hold whenever you want.You can make another call while you have a call in progress.To place a call on hold, simply press the Hold softbutton. You can reactivate the call whenever you want,by pressing the Unhold soft button.
