When finished, press the 8/HOME button toreturn to the Home Screen.Set the low-cut filterSet the low-cut filter if you want to cut noise andother sounds at low frequencies. Press the TRACK/INPUT button to select achannel to set the low-cut filter for.3. Use the wheel to set the cut-off frequency ofthe low-cut filter for microphone input.Setting values: OFF, 40Hz, 80Hz, 120Hz, 220Hz5. When you press the ENTER/MARK or .button, the pop-up disappears and the functionis enabled.As the number (frequency) becomes larger, lowfrequencies across a wider band can be cut.Using the level control functionYou can set the level control function for recordingthrough a microphone.1. Press the INPUT button to show the INPUTSETTING screen on the display.2. Press the TRACK/INPUT button to select achannel to set the level control function for.3. Use the wheel to select (highlight) LEVELCTRL, and then press the ENTER/MARK or/ button to display setting items as apop-up.4. When you use the wheel to select (highlight)the desired function and then press the ENTER/MARK or . button, the pop-up disappearsand the function is enabled.PEAKThis function is used to automatically lower therecording level to a more appropriate one when aninput sound is too loud. You can raise the recordinglevel manually. This function is useful for recordingmusic with volume changes that affect the soundnegatively. Even if this function is turned off after ithas been set, the set level is retained.LIMITERThis function prevents distortion due to sudden andexcessive input. This is useful when you do not wantto change the recording level.In this mode, you can change the recording levelmanually even during recording.
