66 TASCAM HS-40007 – Timeline modeUndoing the previous edit (UNDO)You can undo the immediately previous timeline editingoperation.1. Press the HOME key on the front panel to open the HomeScreen.2. Touch the EDIT MODE button to enter edit mode.3. Touch the EDIT button to open a pull-up menu.4. Touch the UNDO button in the pull-up menu to undo theprevious operation. When the undo completes, the HomeScreen will be shown again after a pop-up message appears.At this time, the EDIT pull-up menu will still be open.NOTE• You can also undo using the UNDO button in the Fade/Levelpull-up menu.• If no editing has been conducted, the UNDO button isdisabled. The UNDO button appears with white letters whenit is possible to undo an edit.• In timeline mode, a maximum of 10 recording/editingoperations are remembered in the editing history. You canuse the UNDO and REDO functions on operations retainedin this history. However, as the number of edits and regionsincreases, the number of operations that can be remem-bered could become less than 10.• The editing history in timeline mode will be cleared whenany of the following occur.• The main unit power is turned off.• A project/session is loaded.• AES31 editing information is imported• The operation mode is changed.Redoing an edit (REDO)After undoing an edit, you can redo it.1.
