Dealerservice is strongly recommended.Note: When removing a hose assembly or fitting,the O-ring (if equipped) on the fitting and/or hoseend must be replaced. All connections must betorqued to specification during installation. Refer toSpecifications, Hydraulic Hose and Fitting TorqueSpecifications.1 Level the boom.2 Remove the platform. Refer to RepairProcedure, How to Remove the Platform.3 Remove the platform mounting weldment andthe platform rotator. Refer to RepairProcedure, How to Remove the PlatformRotator.4 Remove the jib boom. Refer to RepairProcedure, How to Remove the Jib Boom.5 Remove the jib boom lift cylinder. Refer toRepair Procedure, How to Remove the JibBoom Lift Cylinder.6 Remove the jib boom bellcrank. Refer toRepair Procedure, How to Remove the JibBoom Bellcrank.7 Remove the boom primary extension cylinder.Refer to Repair Procedure, How to Removethe Boom Primary Extension Cylinder.8 The boom tubes can be disassembled withoutremoving the cable track assembly. If youchoose to remove the cable track assembly,Refer to Repair Procedure, How to Removethe Cable Track.9 Remove the brackets supporting the cabletrack assembly from the #3 and #4 boomtubes10 Place blocks between the cable tracks andcable tubes for support.11 Strap together the boom cable tubes, blocks ofwood, and the cable track.Component damage hazard.Cables, hoses, boom cabletube and cable track can bedamaged if they are kinked orpinched.
