Service and Repair Manual December 2019Ground Controls72 SX™-150 Part No. 1268496GT3 Turn the bypass/recovery key switch to thebypass position.4 Using auxiliary power, operate the groundcontrol buttons to level the platform.Note: Only the auxiliary power unit can be used tocorrect an out of level platform fault.5 Turn the bypass/recovery key switch to the runposition.6 Remove the key from the bypass/recovery keyswitch and insert the key into the main keyswitch.Note: If the Bypass function has been used, theremay be faults with the machine. Check the LCDscreen on the ground control box for machine faults,then contact trained service personnel.How to Us e the R ec ov ery ModeHow to Use the Recovery ModeRecovery is only to be used as a last attempt tolower the platform when the operator in theplatform is unable to do so, system failure or inemergency situations.Bodily injury hazard. When usingrecovery mode, the platform maynot fully lower to the ground whenthe recovery mode is completed.Failure to use only suitableequipment and/or practices toallow the operator to safely exitthe platform could result in deathor serious injury.Bodily injury hazard. Platformleveling is not active when usingrecovery mode. The platformcould reach high out-of-levelconditions when using this mode.The operator will need to securethemself to the platform toprevent falling injury.The recovery sequence will automatically retractthe primary boom and then lower the primary boomusing the auxiliary power unit to allow the operatorat the platform controls to exit the platform.1 Turn the main key switch to ground controls.Remove the key from the main key switch andinsert the key into the bypass/recovery keyswitch.
