(This does not affectthe defaults in the Reel Properties dialog box.)Capturing marked video sequencesAfter you’ve marked the various sequences in a video, you are ready tocapture them. To do this, click the Record button on the Control bar orCapture: Video [ F 5 ]. In the Capture Video dialog box that opens, select theDevice control option in the Method group box and click OK. VideoCapture begins capturing from your device using the settings specified inthe batch list. (You can still edit this batch list from the Capture Videodialog box by clicking the Batch button next to the Device Controloption.)Note:If there are dropped frames during a capturing process, the Batch Log dialogbox appears. Click the Re-capture button if you want to try recapturing that markedportion again.Capture plug-insVideo Capture provides different plug-ins for capturing different formats ofvideo, such as AVI, MPEG, and digital video (DV). See the tutorial on VideoCapture for details.Video Capture also comes with a capture plug-in that allows you to capturevideos from DVDs that are recorded using the DVD-VR format. To capturefrom DVDs, change your capture plug-in to Ulead DVD-VR Plug-in in theChange Capture Plug-in dialog box.Using this plug-in will allow you to capture entire or selected contents ofyour DVD. To learn how to capture using the Ulead DVD-VR Plug-in,please consult the online help of the Ulead DVD-VR Plug-in.4. Click OK. The dialog box closes and the batch list is updatedaccordingly.
